  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    According to Marca, Madrid are looking to change the name of their iconic ground from Santiago Bernabeu to The Bernabeu. The report adds this is being made for commercial and marketing reasons.

    Los Blancos put in place the Santiago Bernabeu name on January 4, 1955, and was used to honour the club's former player, manager, and president of the same name. It has since become one of the most famous sporting stadiums in the world.
