Yoro has been working his way back from a cruel injury blow sustained in the summer. THE BIGGER PICTURE

Yoro did not manage to play in a competitive fixture under Erik ten Hag but he could get the chance to make his debut under Ruben Amorim soon. The new United boss has revealed his excitement at the prospect of working closely with the Frenchman, who is still only 19.

  • WHAT AMORIM SAID

Amorim told reporters: "I think he is a special talent, we have to be careful in this first moment, we didn’t have too many trainings together, he is training not alone but in a small group. He is really fast, a modern defender, and that is really good when you want to press high and leave strikers one against one. He is really good with the ball. We have to be careful but I am really excited to see Leny Yoro play."
