Pedri has played a key role in Barca’s domestic treble, emerging as one of the game’s premier midfielders with six goals and nine assists in 2024-2025. As the LaLiga champions undergo a rebuild under Hansi Flick, the same coach who once wanted to sign him at Bayern, Pedri’s decision now looks even more significant.
Getty Images SportWHAT NEXT FOR PEDRI?
Pedri and Spain are set to face France in the UEFA Nations League semi-final. A win would see them challenge Portugal in the final on 8th June for another major trophy, potentially sealing a perfect season for the starlet. Beyond that, his focus will return to Barcelona, where he’s expected to be a cornerstone of Flick’s new era.
