    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Guehi starred for England at Euro 2024 and according to The Telegraph, he could become a Newcastle player by the weekend. The 24-year-old is said to be very keen on the move and while he will be excited at the possibility of a transfer, this is a big blow for Palace - especially after losing winger Michael Olise to Bayern Munich earlier this summer.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Guehi began his career at Chelsea but only played twice for the first-team in all competitions, before making an £18m ($23m) move to Palace in 2021. If he does head to Newcastle, he could become their record signing as Alexander Isak joined from Real Sociedad for £63m ($80.4m) in 2022.
