Neal Maupay is savage! Striker reignites James Maddison feud by brutally mocking Tottenham star for being cut from England's Euro 2024 squad

During Brentford's 3-2 loss to Tottenham in January, Bees loanee Maupay copied Maddison's dart throwing celebration - something that the Spurs player did not like. After helping Tottenham secure a comeback victory, the England midfielder got into a war of words with the Frenchman and belittled his playing career. Now, the Everton man has poked fun at the 27-year-old following Gareth Southgate's call to leave him out of the Three Lions' 26-man Euros squad.

In a wordless tweet, Maupay can be seen beaming at the camera, while holding three darts - mocking Maddison in the process.

Maddison was among a number of high-profile omissions from England's final Euro 2024 squad, including former captain Harry Maguire. The former Leicester man said he was "devastated" by the news but wished the Three Lions the best in the tournament. Incidentally, Maupay's tweet is likely to have enraged Maddison further still.

While Maupay and Maddison head off for their summer breaks, England finish up their Euro 2024 warm-up matches against Iceland on Friday, before kickstarting their campaign against Serbia on June 16 in Germany.
