WHAT HAPPENED?
According to Sky Germany, after weeks of negotiations with the south coast club, the Reds have reached a full agreement to secure the Hungarian defender's services. Initial talks between the sides had stalled due to disagreements over the fee, with Bournemouth standing firm on their valuation. However, all parties have now found common ground, allowing Liverpool to finalise personal terms and proceed with medical tests.

Kerkez enjoyed a standout season under Andoni Iraola at Bournemouth, starting all 38 Premier League matches during the 2024–25 campaign. He is being earmarked as the long-term heir to Andy Robertson, who has served as Liverpool’s first-choice left-back for the better part of a decade. In anticipation of Kerkez’s departure, Bournemouth have already made their move in the transfer market as the Cherries have announced the arrival of French left-back Adrien Truffert from Ligue 1 side Rennes.
