  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The Italian striker has been without a club since leaving Turkish side Adana Demirspor in July. He has reportedly received many offers from around the world, from including Australia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Japan. The 34-year-old reached an agreement to join Brazilian side Corinthians, but the move collapsed in July.

    An Indian Super League team were also linked with the ex-Manchester City striker but they ended up turning down the chance to land him, leaving the notorious forward in limbo. However, a road back to his homeland has opened up for Balotelli, as Repubblica reports Genoa head coach Alberto Gilardino has called him to discuss a possible deal.
