Man Utd eye shock move for Thomas Tuchel as Bayern Munich manager eager to replace Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford

Although United reached their second straight FA Cup final on Sunday, their performance against Championship side Coventry City in the semi-final was far from convincing. There have been reports of manager Erik ten Hag quitting the club at the end of the 2023-24 season due to the club's unsatisfactory performances in the current campaign.

Now Sport Bild's Christian Falk reports that the Red Devils could consider appointing Tuchel in case the Dutch coach leaves Old Trafford in the summer. He further claimed that the German manager is keen on returning to the Premier League and is interested in taking the United job.

Ten Hag could return to his former club Ajax ahead of the 2024-25 season if he leaves the Premier League giants as the Dutch club have reportedly included the United boss on their summer shortlist.

Ten Hag's side will be next seen in action in the Premier League on Wednesday as they take on rock-bottom side Sheffield United at Old Trafford.
