Per the Mirror, the reigning English champions assured the 53-year-old coach that they would win the battle in court against the league before he formally signed the dotted line. While Guardiola has vowed to stay with the club even if they face punishment and get relegated, chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak and chief executive Ferran Soriano remain confident that the club will be cleared of all charges.
