According to talkSPORT, Madrid have already informed the Reds of their intent to pursue Alexander-Arnold as a free agent. As contract talks continue, Alexander-Arnold is also working his way back to full fitness following a hamstring injury. Although he missed Liverpool’s midweek Champions League rematch with Madrid, he is expected to return for Sunday’s crucial Premier League showdown against Manchester City.
