Arne Slot has reportedly earmarked Diaz as a vital piece in his blueprint for the 2025–26 season. The manager is believed to have no intention of parting ways with the Colombian unless an exceptional offer is made, one that would not only match his quality but also provide the financial flexibility to find a suitable replacement.

Amid swirling speculation, Diaz himself has spoken out to cool transfer talk: "I'm very happy at Liverpool. They've treated me well since the first day. We're talking with other clubs.
