Southgate became England boss in late 2016, taking over from Sam Allardyce after he became embroiled in a third-party ownership scandal. During his time in charge he guided the Three Lions to two European Championship finals and a World Cup semi-final, making him the best England manager of the 21st century.

England are yet to confirm his successor, however, Southgate already has his next job lined up as per The Daily Mail. The former Aston Villa defender has been tipped to join Match of the Day as a pundit, though the BBC will face competition from ITV for his signature.
