Football Boots: latest releases in 2025

You read that right, adidas and David Beckham unveil an iconic pair of the adidas Predator Elite football boots, built for the big stage. The limited collection drop is the second signature Predator in collaboration with one of the most iconic Predator players to ever wear the boot.

This stunning design envelops the world-famous silo in a striking pink, white, and black colourway, drawing inspiration from the colours of Inter Miami, for whom Beckham is both a co-owner and president of the MLS side.

The bubblegum pink upper is complemented by the three stripes in black, and the signature fold-over tongue is adorned with the adidas and Beckham logos in crisp white. Subtle tributes to Beckham continue with a pink Beckham graphic on the insole. The pink also marks a nice nod to Beckham’s Predator boots from his MLS playing days.

In preparation for the 2025-26 season, PUMA has come up with a bright new colourway for their Re-Charge Pack that sees the Future 8. Ultra 6 and King are all donning an unmissable colour palette, with an eye-catching blend of vivid pinks and cool blues. It's giving slushies from your local shop, and we kind of are obsessed with the gradient colourway. 

Dropping as part of PUMA’s biannual blackout ritual, the Eclipse Pack is officially here. It's less flash, more mysterious – it's a move for players who prefer to let their game do the talking. This time, it's not black, though, and more of a rich midnight green that shifts subtly in the light. It's officially dubbed Puma Black, Fizzy Light, and Green Terrain, and we love it. 

Nike is back with a fresh boot pack to head into pre-season, unveiling the latest Shadow pack, which sees all three silos dressed in stealth suits. All three silos are enveloped in a sleek black with sharp hints of ice blue and deep navy, adding a subtle edge to the designs. 

Looking to a brand new season of football, New Balance has dropped the Cause and Effect Pack for players like Bukayo Saka, Endrick, Harvey Elliot, and many more to don on the pitch. Speaking about the release, Saka said: “New Balance always delivers on innovation, and these new Furon v8 colourways are just another example. It's exciting to wear boots that are not only designed for top performance but also look incredibly sharp. I'm excited to get out on the pitch in them for the new season." 

Mizuno is celebrating 40 years of the iconic Morelia silo with a stunning Ruby colourway, celebrating its rich history. The Ruby Red edition elevates the elegance, giving this timeless silhouette a regal finish and celebrated Japanese craftsmanship. 

Ahead of the 2025 Club World Cup, adidas has released the Road To Glory pack. Each silo features a crisp white base, contrasted by black Three Stripes cascading down the sides, giving it a timeless and luxurious feel.

New Balance is walking into the warmer weather in April with a pack that looks as good as it is. The Furon and Tekela silos come in reverse colourways to each other, with complementary shades and spotlighted details. The Furon V8 fashions a Passionfruit, Hot Mango and Silver whilst the Tekela V4+ sees a Parchment, Clementine and Hot Mango. 

It's official, MUNDIAL has designed a new Puma King. The King Mundial fashions the classic black and white that the King loves to wear, and features a singular pink stud amongst all black studs, acting as a nod to the PUMA archive piece where the King had a different colour stud. Spotted on the heel of the boot is the number ten, paying tribute to the shirt number that some of the most esteemed King players wore, including Diego Maradona.

To mark the occasion, Mundial have made a short film, shot in Manchester and Herzö, home of Puma’s headquarters and, of course, their incredible archive where timeless delights made famous by the likes of Maradona, Eusébio, and Cruyff are preserved in pristine condition for eternity. 

Chrome is the theme for this vibrant new Nike pack, as the name aptly suggests, and this one's a real beauty for those who like a bold look on the pitch. There are brand new colourways for the Mercurial, Phantom and Tiempo, with a focus on ‘Colour in Motion’ and how to bring pioneering designs to the game. Nike pull colour inspiration from their ‘Mad Energy’ pack, dropped at the beginning of the year, and has evolved them into energised shades – each silo coming in an individually daring look.

Marking ten years of the Furon, New Balance has celebrated the occasion with a special ‘Anniversary’ pack that features the Furon dressed in two reverse colourways, Black/Metallic Gold/White and White/Metallic Gold/Black. The classy release sees the boots wrapped in gold accents, standing out against either an all-black or an all-white base. ‘Furon’ written on the insole also features golden undertones, adding touches of luxury to represent the silo's success..

Skechers have unveiled their first football boot release of 2025 and their seventh since they joined the football boot gang in 2023. The sparkling new Electrum Pack comes in metallic gold and silver colour combinations for the SKX_01 and Skechers Razor. Electrum is a fusion of both, symbolising players' ability to shine in every moment of the game.

The lastest version of PUMA's Creativity Pack has a basketball influence added. The ULTRA, FUTURE and KIG silos feature colourful graphics to produce a vibrant impactful shoe in a vivid Orange Poppy, Black and Poison Pink colourway. The boots are engulfed in the orange, with shades of purple and small turquoise accents making an appearance. on the upper and boot collars.

Nike are celebrating a woman-led season with the amazing United pack, which is dedicated to celebrating and further spotlighting women’s football. The boot campaign spotlights six ballers across the women's game, including Lauren James, Salma Paralluelo, Sophia Smith, Deyna Castellanos, Naomi Girma and Patricia Guijarro. The pack drops in a stunning Purple Agate and Barely Volt colourway in all three silos. Volt green accents complement a lavender body, chosen to reflect the undeniable energy of the women’s game. Small details such as the words ‘Nike United’ also feature in the vibrant colour on the lateral side of the boot.

Following the success of their Brilliance Pack last year, the Light Up Pack follows with PUMA's continued efforts in making boots specifically for women. All three silos arrive in an Icey blue and PUMA white colourway, keeping to the light pastel colour scheme of Brilliance initiative. It's chosen to mirror feminine beauty.

The Mizuno Alpha II is updated for 2025 as the Japanese brand delivers a second generation of their lightweight speed boot. Dropping in a stunning aesthetic, the Alpha II is built for comfort, lightweight play and maximum acceleration. This beautiful iridescent design drops as a 'teaser' edition of the boot ahead of the general release colourways that will follow later in the year. 

To kick off 2025, PUMA has launched the Unlimited football boots pack. The FUTURE 8 silo is launched alongside the ULTRA 5 and the KING ULTIMATE, with all football boots available in both unisex and women’s fits. Including vibrant new colourways feature brushes of orange, white, black and electric purple - they look as good as they are.

adidas have unveiled the newest version of the iconic Predator franchise, Predator 25, blending archival colour nods and design features – with technology updates that pave the way for a new generation. Visually, Predator 25 enhances the vibrant red often associated with the classic tongue, which decorates the entire upper in a bolder representation of the boot’s iconic DNA.

The design further leans into its past with an unmistakable nod to the Predator Accelerator (1998), with wavy black lines that weave through the brand’s three stripes, which are now found on both the medial and lateral sides of the boot. The boot’s aesthetic is finished with the new ‘Predator’ branding, displayed on the heel's side and tongue.
