The Daily Mail now report that Ten Hag is 'expected to retreat to his Austrian hideaway' in the coming few days as he looks to recuperate after what was a gruesome few months to start the season. As he had signed a contract extension until 2026 over the summer, Ten Hag is expected to land around £15 million ($19m) in compensation.
DID YOU KNOW?
The report from the Daily Mail has suggested that despite his largely poor spell with United, Ten Hag is still seen as a 'strong' figure in Germany due to his successful two-year stint in the Bayern Munich setup. As such, a move to the Bundesliga could be on the cards for the Dutchman in the future.

The Red Devils are set to play their next three clashes under Ten Hag's assistant, legendary striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, before Amorim's notice period with Sporting ends and he is able to join the club. United will be back in action when they take on Chelsea on Sunday.
