<p>Ahead of the latest international break, Milan took in a Serie A clash with Fiorentina. They slipped to a 2-1 defeat in that contest, with <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/christian-pulisic-goal-glut-usmnt-star-post-34-year-first-talismanic-presence-ac-milan/blt3a64e18399a50b0e" target="_blank">United States international Pulisic on target once again.</a> He was denied the opportunity to finish said contest with more than one goal to his name.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The Rossoneri were awarded two penalties on the day, and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/dna-usmnt-legend-reacts-christian-pulisic-penalty-drama-ac-milan-american-forward-avoids-another-argument/blt929a8df38454e340" target="_blank">Pulisic is their designated taker</a>. Theo Hernandez and Tammy Abraham were, however to step up to the spot – with both fluffing their lines. Milan boss <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/christian-pulisic-warned-ac-milan-penalty-duties-paulo-fonseca-rages-usmnt-star-theo-hernandez-tammy-abraham-misses-fiorentina/bltc7b11a6c14073537" target="_blank">Paulo Fonseca was left incensed in the dugout</a>, telling reporters afterwards: “Our penalty taker is Pulisic, I don't know why the players changed their minds. I spoke to him and said that it must not happen again.”</p>

While the former missed from the spot against Fiorentina, the ball was handed to him by fellow former Chelsea star Tomori.</p>
