'Focused on the process' - Dele Alli posts motivational message after suffering yet another injury setback at Everton

<p>The former England international has remained out of action since last March due to a groin injury that he suffered while playing for Besiktas on loan. On Friday, Everton boss <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/injury-dele-alli-everton-undergoes-surgery-again-year-without-playing-single-game/bltb8b49cf3523bd621#cs4027c14ee1060d9c" target="_blank">Sean Dyche confirmed that the player underwent surgery on his groin</a> and has now been ruled out of action for a longer period.</p><p>Dele recently shared a motivational post on social media and revealed that he is focused on the recovery process and is working hard to make a comeback soon.</p>

WHAT DELE ALLI SAID

<p>The former Tottenham star's loan spell in Turkey last season did not go as per plan as he managed to clock only 868 minutes on the pitch across the entire campaign. He last played a competitive game on February 26, 2023, against Antalyaspor in the Super Lig.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>With Dele's contract with Everton expiring next summer, it is unlikely that the player will play for the Toffees in a competitive game again. The last time he played for the Merseyside club was on August 13, 2022, against Aston Villa in the Premier League.</p>
