Following England's heart-wrenching defeat in the Euro 2024 finals, where Spain emerged victorious with a 2-1 win, the couple decided to jet away on a trip to shake off the disappointment. Sailing on happy waters, Bowen got down on one knee and proposed to the 27-year-old actor with a beautiful ring, symbolizing their commitment and love.

Dyer took to Instagram to share her happiness with her followers, posting photos of the engagement and her sparkling ring. She captioned the post, "𝘜𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳💍".

Dyer has been beside Bowen through thick and thin and was present in the stands to witness the European Championship final in Berlin, donning a Three Lions jersey with Bowen emblazoned on the back of it. However, just like a million other English fans, she was heartbroken at full-time after Spain's Mikel Oyarzabal scored the winner just a few minutes before the full time whistle.

The footballer will soon be heading back to London to begin preparations for the upcoming Premier League season with West Ham. Their first match is scheduled against Aston Villa on August 17 at the London Stadium.
