WHAT HAPPENED?
The English attacker has been a revelation in his first season at Stamford Bridge and is one of Chelsea's best performers in the current campaign. Since joining the club from Manchester City last summer, Palmer has scored 16 goals in 35 matches across all competitions and provided 12 assists.

The 21-year-old's current Blues contract sees him earn £80,000-a-week but the Daily Mail has now reported that the West London side are set to reward him with a new lucrative deal ahead of the 2024/25 season. While the club are yet to initiate talks with the player over a new contract, they have internally admitted that the England international deserves a better deal.
