    WHAT MCCLEAN SAID

Asked about Mullin's goal in which the striker needed two bites of the cherry to score, McClean laughed: "Yeah he apologised and rightly so for not scoring the first one and giving me an assist. It helps as a wide player being able to put the ball in the box and to have that quality in the box."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Goals for both Fletcher and Mullin lifted the Red Dragons above Mansfield and into second place. Wrexham will be hoping to hold onto their place in the automatic promotion places and will aim to build momentum as teams around them drop points.
