    THE BIGGER PICTURE

With only one year left on his contract, Milan are prepared to sell Hernandez to ensure they do not lose him for free next year. The France international has refused an offer to join Al-Hilal despite the Saudi club's agreement with Milan, instead pursuing a move back to Diego Simeone's Atletico.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

His possible replacement, Zinchenko, may be open to a move to San Siro after a rough season at Arsenal in which he made just 15 Premier League appearances. The 28-year-old Ukraine international joined the Gunners in 2022 from Manchester City, where he won four Premier League titles.
