Aberdeen team news

Manager Jimmy Thelin is likely to continue trying his options in attack in the hunt for a decent supply line this season.

Specifically, Kevin Nisbet could be replaced by Marko Lazetic as the lead striker. Jesper Karlsson and Adil Aouchiche would complete the attacking trident, with Nicky Devlin and one of Emmanuel Gyamfi and Topi Keskinen supporting from the flanks.

Alexander Jensen is suspended following his sending off in the Europa League qualification game against FCSB in August.

Shakhtar Donetsk team news

In Sunday's 4-0 league victory over Rukh Lviv, Pedrinho scored two goals and is expected to join Luca Meirelles, Isaque and Artem Bondarenko in attack.

The back four of Yukhym Konoplia, Valeriy Bondar, Mykola Matviyenko and Pedro Henrique from the game could also remain the same.

On the injury front, Alisson Santana, Danylo Udod, Lassina Traore and Eguinaldo are likely to miss out.
