The Liberty Flames (1-4) head to the Sun Bowl in El Paso to take on the UTEP Miners (1-4) on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in a Conference USA showdown between two struggling programs looking to turn things around.

Liberty hasn’t seen the field since September 27, when it fell 21-7 on the road to Old Dominion. The Flames’ offense never found its rhythm that day, managing only 203 total yards — just 77 through the air and 126 on the ground, while mustering a lone touchdown.

UTEP, meanwhile, is also searching for answers after a rough 30-11 home defeat to Louisiana Tech on the same weekend. The Miners’ attack sputtered as well, producing only 273 yards of total offense (147 passing, 126 rushing) and moving the chains just 15 times. Both teams enter this midweek matchup desperate to snap their skids and breathe some life back into their respective seasons.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch the UTEP vs Liberty NCAAF game, plus plenty more.
