The Big 12 slate rolls on Saturday, October 4, 2025, as the TCU Horned Frogs (3-1) welcome the Colorado Buffaloes (2-3) to Amon G. Carter Stadium.
TCU opened the year with plenty of momentum, stringing together three straight wins before stumbling last Friday against Arizona State. The Frogs looked poised for another victory, holding a 24-17 edge heading into the fourth quarter, but they unraveled late and surrendered 10 unanswered points in a heartbreaking 27-24 road defeat.
Colorado has had a rollercoaster ride through five games, hovering around the .500 mark early on. The Buffaloes nearly added another tally in the win column last weekend, taking a 14-10 advantage into halftime against BYU. But they couldn’t slam the door in the second half, falling short in a narrow 24-21 home loss that stung just as much as it slipped away.
