Injuries and Suspended players

Nottingham Forest team news

Nottingham Forest remain without Ola Aina, who continues to recover from a hamstring injury, while defender Murillo — absent for the last three games with an ankle issue — faces a late fitness check ahead of the weekend. Midfielder Douglas Luiz is also a doubt.

Sunderland team news

Sunderland, meanwhile, will be without record signing Habib Diarra until December following groin surgery. He is joined on the sidelines by Romaine Mundle, Dennis Cirkin, Aji Alese, and Leo Hjelde. On a brighter note, Luke O’Nien is available again after his own shoulder problem.

In addition, Reinildo begins a three-match suspension after being sent off last weekend.
