Big Ten football heats back up Saturday as No. 20 Michigan returns to the Big House for a Week 6 showdown with Wisconsin.
The Badgers enter year three under head coach Luke Fickell, but so far, his tenure has left plenty to be desired. Sitting at 15-15 overall (8-11 in conference play) since his arrival, Wisconsin has been stuck in neutral, and a 2-2 start in 2025 hasn’t helped the narrative. Their latest outing was another step back, a 27-10 defeat at the hands of Maryland.
Michigan, on the other hand, might not be built to chase a national title this fall, but this is still a team firmly entrenched among the Big Ten’s upper class. The Wolverines survived a tough fight last weekend against Nebraska, edging out the Cornhuskers 30-27, and will look to build on that momentum at home.

Quarterback Maddux Madsen was sharp and efficient, throwing for 321 yards and four scores on 25-of-37 passing without a single turnover. The Broncos got solid production on the ground from Sire Gaines, who churned out 69 yards on 12 carries while chipping in two catches.
