The Kansas Jayhawks (4-3) return home to David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium on Saturday for a Big 12 showdown against the Kansas State Wildcats (3-4).

Kansas State rolls into Lawrence with some momentum after a 41-28 victory over TCU two weeks ago, marking their second win in the last three outings and evening their conference record at 2-2.

The Jayhawks, meanwhile, also come off a bye but are looking to bounce back from a tough 42-17 defeat at Texas Tech two weeks ago. That loss dropped them to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in Big 12 play. Still, with just two more wins needed to clinch bowl eligibility, Kansas has plenty to play for as they look to regain their footing at home.

Here, GOAL brings you everything you need to know about how to watch the Kansas vs Kansas State NCAAF game, plus plenty more.

Kansas vs Kansas State news & key players

Kansas Jayhawks team news

Kansas are looking to regroup after a 42-17 setback to Texas Tech in Lubbock. Quarterback Jalon Daniels was efficient despite the loss, completing 27 of 33 passes for 228 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Tight end Boden Groen was his go-to option, hauling in a career-best 13 receptions for 76 yards. The Jayhawks’ rushing attack never found its rhythm, with Daniel Hishaw Jr. leading the way at 53 yards on eight carries. Kansas mustered 319 total yards of offense but managed only 42 on the ground, a number they’ll need to improve if they hope to hang with their in-state rivals.

Kansas State Wildcats team news

Kansas State, on the other hand, rides into this matchup fresh off a convincing 41-28 win over TCU, where quarterback Avery Johnson put on a strong showing. The signal-caller threw for three touchdowns — two of them to tight end Garrett Oakley, while completing 16 of 26 passes for 198 yards. Johnson also chipped in 29 rushing yards on 13 carries, capping his third touchdown toss to Jerand Bradley. The Wildcats racked up 348 total yards and completely controlled the tempo, dominating possession for more than 36 minutes.
