Kobe Bryant is one of the fiercest competitors to ever play in the NBA, and now he's introducing his "mamba mentality" to Paris Saint-Germain.

Bryant, a five-time NBA champion with the LA Lakers, has a lot of free time on his hands after retiring from basketball following a legendary 20-year career.

On Thursday, Bryant visited PSG to take in a practice at the the Ooredoo training center, where he spoke to the players and even kicked the ball around with 18-year-old star Kylian Mbappe.

“It’s not my first time in Paris, I’ve been in the city many times. But I used to play around this time of the year, so I’m very fortunate to be able to come now, here at the practice facility.” Bryant said.

“I don’t miss playing, but I do enjoy coming and watching how some of the best players in the world prepare and how the best organizations in the world prepare. I spent a great amount of time asking questions and try to understand what they do. I’ve been extremely blown away about what I saw today.”

It wasn't the first time a current or former NBA star has visited PSG this year, as the club continues to grow a relationship with the world's top baskeball league.

Timberwolves forward Karl-Anthony Towns visited Parc des Princes in June, Golden State's Stephen Curry kicked off the match against Saint-Etienne and former NBA All-Star Gary Payton attended the match against Olympique Lyonnais.
