Do not sleep on Washington Spirit forward Trinity Rodman, who has 8 goals and always celebrates in style

WHAT HAPPENED

Trinity Rodman scored an absolute stunner on Sunday, helping secure a 3-0 win for the Spirit over the Houston Dash. Rodman's goal, impressive in it's own right, was highlight worthy because of what happened after the ball found the back of the net.

Rodman was able to break through some close-pressure Houston defense, and battled to rip off a Dorito shot (upper-90) in the 46th minute.

After Rodman scored, her 8th goal of the NWSL season, she ran to an adequate area of turf and fell to the ground celebrating by way of a fake slumber.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Rodman has been a prolific scorer for the Spirit, and sits in 4th place in the league standings with goals scored at eight.

The USWNT forward is also known around the league, and world, for her cheeky celebrations and of course, the 'Trin Spin'.

Just a week earlier in the Spirit's win over the Portland Thorns, Rodman celebrated a goal by "dunking" which was a nod to basketball legend, and investor of the Spirit, Magic Johnson. In the Spirit's win over Houston, the team secured their NWSL playoff spot.

WHAT RODMAN IS SAYING

When she's not sleeping on the pitch, or scoring goals, Rodman has took to social media to encourage all of the Spirit fans to cop some "clinched" t-shirts.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR RODMAN AND THE SPIRIT?

The Spirit will next face Kansas City Current on the road Friday.
