Few teams, if any, look as well prepared for the 2018 World Cup as Brazil.
A well balanced squad with a mix of experience and youth - including two of the three most expensive players in the world - the majority of bookmakers now make the Selecao outright favourites to emerge victorious from this summer's tournament in Russia.
2018 World Cup Qualification
Topping the South American group, Brazil looked imperious throughout their qualification campaign.
Tite's side picked up 41 points from 18 games (won 12, drew five and lost one) and were 10 points clear of their nearest challengers. Not only were the former champions extremely effective but they put on a show too, scoring 41 goals. Manchester City frontman Gabriel Jesus (7) led Neymar (6) and Paulinho (6) as the county's leading marksman, but the goals were well spread within the squad.
dabblebetWorld Cup History
2002's win in Japan and South Korea was the last time Brazil tasted World Cup glory, a fifth victory for the country in their illustrious history on the international scene.
Since then though, it has been a case of falling short in the later stages with two quarter final knockouts and a fourth place finish on home soil at the previous edition four years ago.
