Wrexham unveil eye-catching 2024-25 home kit complete with dragon scale fabric for next stage of Ryan Reynolds & Rob McElhenney's revolution in League One

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Wrexham announced the release of their 2024-25 home jersey on Tuesday morning, after extending their contract with kit suppliers Macron for a further season. Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's side will don the new offering in the upcoming League One campaign, which will see the Red Dragons go all out to achieve an unprecedented third successive promotion.

    Front of shirt sponsors United Airlines are also back for a design that includes dragon scales and a full white collar, which is a throwback to Wrexham's iconic kits of the past.

    However, Wrexham have confirmed that the women's team will be the first to wear the new red shirt, in a friendly clash with SoCal FC on January 19. The men's squad are set to get a feel for the jersey a day later when they take on Premier League outfit Bournemouth in a pre-season clash.

    Wrexham's new home kit also features a tribute to the 266 victims of the Gresford Colliery Disaster. The number 266 has been included on the back of the neck along with a miner’s wheel, with the 90th anniversary of the disaster set to be marked on September 22.

    WHAT'S NEXT FOR WREXHAM?

    After facing Bournemouth on Saturday, Wrexham's men's team will continue their tour of the United States with games against Chelsea and the Vancouver Whitecaps, before returning to Wales for their final pre-season outing against Fleetwood Town. Phil Parkinson's side will then look ahead to their opening game in League One against Wycombe on August 10.
