Earlier on Saturday the club named their 26-man squad that travelled to Edinburgh to face Scottish giants Rangers in their second pre-season friendly match on Saturday. In their first friendly on Monday, the Red Devils went down 1-0 against Rosenborg.

THE EXPLANATION
Manager Erik ten Hag did not include big names like Marcus Rashford, Antony, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof in the squad. Rashford and Maguire miss the clash due to niggles as the English centre-back has still not fully recovered from his injury, though he did join training this week.
