WHAT HAPPENED?
Palace boss Glasner held heated talks with owner Steve Parish in which he insisted Guehi, 25, must not leave Selhurst Park while the club struggled to find an ideal replacement, according to The Guardian. The report claims that the Eagles hierarchy were even fearful the Austrian could walk away if the England international completed a last-gasp move to Liverpool.

The former Chelsea centre-back has just one year remaining on his current Palace contract and it remains to be seen whether he will sign fresh terms with Glasner's side.
