The Scotland international has enjoyed a remarkable debut campaign in Italy. Few knew what to expect when a £26 million ($35m) transfer away from Old Trafford was completed in the summer of 2024.

McTominay went on to hit 13 goals - many of those important efforts - as Napoli battled their way to a thrilling Serie A title triumph. The 28-year-old midfielder has been named the Italian top-flight’s MVP for 2024-25.

Wild celebrations have been sparked in Naples, with a passionate fan base setting the sky alight with a stunning fireworks display. Supporters have now been given a chance to bask in collective glory with Antonio Conte’s squad.

During an open-top bus parade, McTominay was clearly in off-season mode as he chugged from a bottle of whiskey and puffed away on a cigarette. He has earned the right to let his hair down over the summer.

Napoli will be gracing the Champions League again next season, with McTominay - who has seen his former employers in Manchester miss out on European qualification entirely - working on a contract through to 2028.
