Arsenal and Lionesses star Leah Williamson has been asked who she thinks is the most underrated player in the Premier League. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Williamson was quick to pick out one of Mikel Arteta's key players from the Arsenal men's team, who has played a big role in their title challenge this season.

She told ESPN: "I'd say Gabriel the Arsenal centre-back. I like William Saliba and I think he gets his credit but I think both of them together are incredible."

Gabriel has been a virtual ever-present in the backline his season and has helped Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table. The Gunners also possess the meanest defence in the English top flight, with just 24 goals conceded, while Gabriel has also contributed four goals to the cause.

Arsenal will be hoping to have Gabriel available for Sunday's crunch Premier League clash with Manchester City. The defender pulled out of the Brazil squad over the international break due to injury and is facing a battle to be fit in time for the top-of-the-table clash.
