WHAT ZIRKZEE SAID
Asked by the person holding the camera if he'd had a good break, Zirkzee replied: "Top", before entering the building.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Most of the United first-team squad are on tour duty in the United States, having played Arsenal over the weekend and with scheduled games to come against Real Betis and Liverpool. But those who have been involved in the latter stages of international tournaments are in the process of returning in spurts after delayed summer holidays. Senior first-team coach Steve McClaren is overseeing things at Carrington as he recovers from foot surgery that prevented him travelling on the tour.

Zirkzee will undergo tests at Carrington to gauge his fitness after a brief break. With only a few days of the pre-season tour left, the club do not intend to fly him out to the United States and he will train in Manchester until the rest are back.
