  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Per talkSPORT, Spurs have made an offer for Kudus that includes bonuses for winning the Premier League and the Champions League as they attempt to secure the Ghana international's signature. West Ham, their bitter rivals, rejected the offer and demanded a package that would guarantee them £60 million ($81.5m).

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

GOAL understands that Spurs intimated to West Ham that they would pay £50m ($68m) for Kudus but the Irons have set the price at £65m ($88m). The winger, for his part, has told the Irons he wants to move to north London, although the Irons would prefer to sell him to Chelsea.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Spurs included trophy-related add-ons in the bid after winning the Europa League, ending their 17-year trophy drought in the process. The Hammers, though, clearly want a higher guaranteed fee for the 24-year-old, who scored 19 goals and registered 13 assists in 80 games for the club.

Spurs have identified Kudus as a key target this summer and negotiations are likely to continue, especially as the Hammers are hoping for a late hijack from Chelsea.
