Now, Fabrizio Romano reports that City have firmly informed Spurs that they won't part ways with Savinho in the summer transfer window, irrespective of their offer. Pep Guardiola sees the Selecao star as a key member of his squad and will not let him leave this season.

Blocking Savinho's transfer also effectively means that City are out of the race to sign Real Madrid's Rodrygo, as they would have only pursued the move if Savinho's transfer was sanctioned.
