Last week, White committed his future to Arsenal as he put pen to paper on a new contract that will keep him at the Emirates Stadium until 2028 with an option to extend for one more year. The Athletic has now revealed that the Engish defender went to great lengths to justify his new Gunners deal.

The report claimed that when the contract talks were ongoing with the club, White's representatives approached a data-driven sports consultancy firm, Analytics FC. A detailed report from the firm revealed how the player has excelled both as a central defender and a full-back in the last few seasons and brought out the intricate aspects of his game that are unique.
