The 2025 Clausura season of Liga MX may have marked the peak of Alexis Vega’s career so far. The Toluca forward emerged as a key player under manager Antonio Mohamed, playing a decisive role in securing the league title for the Red Devils against Club América.
Vega’s stats were outstanding: nine goals during the regular season, four more in the playoffs, and an impressive 11 assists throughout the campaign. His standout performances quickly caught the attention of Raúl Jiménez, Fulham’s Mexican striker, who publicly expressed interest in bringing Vega to the Premier League.
During an appearance on the Vamos Show, Jiménez spoke highly of the 27-year-old attacker. “If I could bring anyone to Fulham right now, it would be Alexis Vega,” he said. “He’s having an incredible season with Toluca and could definitely make a big impact here.”
