PSG ready to sell Gianluigi Donnarumma amid Chelsea transfer interest with French giants determined to avoid Kylian Mbappe repeat

According to L’Equipe, PSG officials are looking to sell star goalkeeper Donnarumma this summer after the Italian refused to sign a new contract. The reigning European and French champions do not want to go through a similar situation to Mbappe's when the France captain walked out of the club as a free agent in the summer of 2024 and joined Real.

Several top European teams are keen on signing the 26-year-old custodian. If Donnarumma heads to Italy, Inter and Juventus are the favourites to secure his transfer, but the goalkeeper's likely destination will be the Premier League, as Chelsea are interested in the Italy international.

PSG have already lined up Donnarumma's replacement as they want to sign 23-year-old French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier from Lille. Earlier reports emerged that Porto's Diogo Costa is also on the Ligue 1 giants' radar.

Luis Enrique's side will play their first official match of the new season on August 13 as they take on Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup final.
