WHAT HAPPENED?
The Sun reports that some experienced head coaches are pushing the League Manager's Association to lobby for the rule change that they believe should align management and playing staff.
A change would restrict managerial changes to specific periods during a season.

While the idea carries an element of logic it would be a major surprise if clubs in the Premier League or the EFL voted for the introduction of such a rule. With the transfer windows for players well established and administered at an International level it seems extremely unlikely that clubs would give up the right to change their manager at a time of their choosing.
