Mason Mount sends message to Man Utd fans after finally scoring maiden Red Devils goal in Premier League draw with Brentford following injury struggles

Mount, who played his first Premier League game since November 11, scored his maiden goal for United as he broke the deadlock against Brentford in the 95th minute. The hosts, however, restored parity with a last-gasp equaliser to snatch away important points from the Red Devils.

The former Chelsea midfielder expressed 'mixed feelings' after the match as he sent out a message to fans and thanked them for their support. He was also elated to score his first-ever goal for the club.

Taking to Instagram, the England international shared a couple of photographs of him celebrating the goal as he wrote in the caption, "Mixed feelings, but I’m proud to celebrate my first goal for this club! We’ll continue to work on finishing the season on a high. Thank you for all the support."

Erik ten Hag's side will aim to get back to winning ways on Thursday as they next take on Chelsea in an important Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge.
