Three European giants are all set to compete to secure the signature of Colombian full-back Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace in the summer.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Per Antena2, Premier League giants Manchester City and Chelsea are joined by Barcelona in their pursuit of signing 29-year-old Colombian right-back Munoz from Crystal Palace next summer. Munoz has been a regular starter at Selhurst Park in the 2024/25 campaign as he appeared in 27 matches across all competitions where he scored two goals and provided four assists.

The report adds that the two Premier League sides are currently leading the race as the player wants to stay back in the English top flight. Pep Guardiola has reportedly identified the Colombia international as a replacement for Kyle Walker, who moved to AC Milan on loan in the January transfer window.

For now, Munoz remains focused on strongly finishing the current campaign with Crystal Palace before he evaluates his offers in the summer. The player has a contract with the Eagles until 2027 with an option of extension.
