<p>Garnacho is being gradually eased back into action by Erik ten Hag as he had a busy summer with the Argentine national team in Copa America. His first start of the season came against Liverpool on Sunday, but the young winger struggled to make an impact as the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/man-utd-player-ratings-vs-liverpool-casemiro-kobbie-mainoo/bltd95c513a64f9cbe1" target="_blank">Red Devils were thrashed 3-0 on home turf.</a> The youngster endured a difficult afternoon and was eventually substituted for Amad Diallo in the second half.</p>

<p>As per <a href="https://talksport.com/football/2031600/alejandro-garnacho-x-manchester-united-fan-video/" target="_blank"><em>talkSPORT</em></a>, Garnacho did not take the criticism lightly and responded with a tweet, which has since been deleted, that read: "Wasting your time making clips for me - your life so far."</p><p>The fan who posted the video was quick to reply: "Focus on your first touch and dribbling you b*m. If you weren't so bad I wouldn't have any footage to post."</p><p>He went on to add a couple of more tweets targeting Garnacho. The first one read: "Oi I’m in tears, he really searched up his own name all for him to see a whole comp of his sh*t performances. His head is GONE. WHAT GARNACHO SAID

<p>Garnacho has made some positive contributions to United's campaign this season, despite the online criticism. He provided an assist for <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/alejandro-garnacho-man-utd-big-sacrifice-argentina-copa-america-glory/blte9e9f0a35cc4e958" target="_blank">Joshua Zirkzee's winning goal against Fulham </a>on the opening weekend of the Premier League. Additionally, Garnacho he thought he'd found the back of the net against Brighton during United’s 2-1 defeat, but <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/video-alejandro-garnacho-robbed-joshua-zirkzee-stops-man-utd-winger-scoring-certain-goal-freak-incident-saves-brighton/blt0e95be25eae4a9d5" target="_blank">his goal was disallowed </a>after replays showed that the ball had gone in off Zirkzee, who was in an offside position.</p>
