Man Utd learn Chelsea's cut-price Christopher Nkunku valuation amid uncertainty surrounding £52m flop's future

According to the Mirror, Nkunku will be available for just £35 million ($47m) in the summer. Chelsea are ready to offload the out-of-favour forward in this window, even though they will make a massive loss on a player who was bought for £52m just two years ago.

Delap and Pedro's signings have been confirmed and the Blues are now close to sealing a move for Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund. The club, however, will have to sell players to balance their accounting books. The club have been handed a £27m fine by UEFA following violations of financial sustainability guidelines covering the fiscal periods ending in 2023 and 2024.

Manchester United, who are looking to add more attacking options to their squad this summer, have kept the Frenchman on their shortlist. Considering the 27-year-old will be available for a cut-price deal, United could make a formal move for the player soon.

Before going after Nkunku, the Red Devils are first looking to secure a transfer for Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo, who is on the verge of completing a move to Old Trafford.
