Man City's problems deepen! Phil Foden absent from squad for Nottingham Forest clash as Pep Guardiola's struggling side seek to end losing streak - but Kevin De Bruyne is back

Elsewhere, playmaker Kevin De Bruyne returns to the starting line-up for just his fifth start in the Premier League this season. Kyle Walker, who struggled in Sunday's defeat to Liverpool, has been dropped to the bench while Stefan Ortega keeps his place in goal ahead of Ederson.

The reigning Premier League champions were 2-0 victors in both games against Forest last season, with Erling Haaland scoring both home and away.

Few would have guessed at the start of the season that there would be just one point and one league place separating City and Forest at the start of December. Guardiola's side have been on a miserable run, losing their last four league games, while Nuno Espirito Santo's men have been the surprise package in the top flight this season.
