Lauryn Goodman reveals why she shields children with AC Milan loanee Kyle Walker from public eye and admits it may not be possible to maintain amid ongoing saga involving Annie Kilner

Former Love Island contestant Goodman is mother to two kids that England international Walker fathered outside of his marriage to long-time partner Annie Kilner. The 34-year-old defender has little to do with son Kairo and daughter Kinara outside of paying child support.

Goodman is giving them the best life possible, with a move away from the UK being speculated on, and is eager to keep them out of the love triangle that she finds herself at the centre of. That is, however, becoming increasingly difficult as they get older.

With Walker a prominent figure in the world of sport - as he takes in a loan spell at AC Milan from Premier League champions Manchester City – and Kairo showing an interest in football, Goodman concedes that there will come a point in which her children are thrust further under the spotlight.

Quizzed on social media as to whether the decision not to post pictures of her kids is her call or Walker’s, Goodman said: “It’s completely my choice. He used to show his on his Instagram. If I wanted to I could.

“I do battle with myself about it because they’re so cute and you guys would love them. But then the world is a weird place so I want to protect them and their digital footprint.

“Atm there’s no face to a name… but I’m not sure it’s possible to keep that up forever if he continues with football. Take it as it comes. I will always listen to my gut!”

Goodman has refuted any suggestion that she could follow Walker to Italy, with Kilner yet to make that move herself as divorce speculation rumbles on. She could, however, look to start afresh in Dubai or Portugal, allowing her to escape some of the attention that her young family attracts.
