Jose Mourinho wants Thomas Muller! Fenerbahce boss keen to tempt Harry Kane team-mate to Turkey after Bayern star announces summer exit

The footballing world was taken aback when Müller revealed that his time at Bayern Munich is coming to an end. Despite his desire to continue with the club, Bayern are unwilling to extend his contract, leaving the door open for potential suitors. This unexpected development has sparked interest across Europe, with Fenerbahce appearing as one of the frontrunners for his signature, according to Sporx.

Mourinho is keen to inject experience and leadership into the Fenerbahce squad. With speculation growing around the possible departures of key attackers such as Dusan Tadic and Edin Dzeko, the Portuguese coach is looking for top-tier replacements to maintain the team’s competitive edge. Tadic has contributed 11 goals and 15 assists this season, while Džeko has netted nine times and set up seven more. Losing both would be a blow, but securing Müller would not only soften that loss but also signal the club’s ambition to challenge for domestic and European honours.

It is understood that Fenerbahce are preparing a one-year contract offer for Müller, including the option to extend the deal for a second season based on performances and mutual agreement.

Müller’s next challenge will be to help Bayern end the season with silverware. With the Bundesliga title still within reach and the Champions League campaign alive under new manager Vincent Kompany, the forward is determined to finish his Bayern chapter on a high note.
