Ajax are eager to secure Hato's services with a new long-term deal, despite having 18 months remaining on his current contract. Whereas, the Gunners, having previously engaged in a successful transfer business with Ajax by signing Jurrien Timber last summer, are expected to formalize their interest in Hato during the upcoming summer transfer window rather than in January.

The Polish footballer arrived at Arsenal for £17m ($21.52) in January last year but has failed to meet expectations and could reportedly be shipped out to Serie A. He has earlier plied his trade at Spezia where he made 43 appearances in two seasons.
