'They were celebrating like they'd won the league!' - Harry Redknapp unconvinced by Arsenal celebrations after Tottenham derby win as they gear up for Man City clash

Arsenal have been so close to winning the Premier League over the last two seasons, but for Manchester City to trump them at the end of each campaign. However, Mikel Arteta's men are looking to go one better and have started their season well as they sit second in the standings behind City.

Last weekend, Arsenal secured a crucial 1-0 win over rivals Tottenham in the north London derby. Gabriel Magalhaes' lone goal proved to be the decisive moment, but former Spurs boss Redknapp wasn't entirely enthralled by the Gunners' celebrations.

Speaking to BetVictor about Arsenal's upcoming clash against Manchester City, Redknapp said: "Arsenal were without captain Martin Odegaard and key midfielder Declan Rice and still managed to survive a frantic north London derby. They were celebrating like they’d won the league at the end of the match! I can’t see the same happening against Manchester City."

Arteta's men will face their biggest test yet this season when they face City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. A win would see the Gunners leapfrog City into first place in the Premier League.
